On Sunday, 7 October 2018, the UNTOUCHABLES team participated for the 6th consecutive year in the 2018 Greece Race for the Cure marathon organized by Alma Zois. With the invaluable support of The American College of Greece (Pierce and Deree College), the IB program of the Athens College as well as long-standing and new friends of PAMEMMAZi, the Untouchables managed to win the first prize for the largest Individual Initiative team for the third consecutive year.
Emma’s decision to form a team of 15 girls to participate in the Race was put into place in 2014 and since then the team continues to raise awareness for cancer, to break the social stigma of cancer and to spread the message that “cancer can be overcome, and it does not define you”.
